The institution of marriage shall be entirely secular in the eyes of the government. Two people, of any gender, will present themselves in the Ministry of Domestic Affairs and formally request to be recognized as married within the Empire. The Minister of Domestic Affairs will grant all marriage requests unless one of the persons requesting marriage is currently in a marriage recognized by the government.
The right of marriage in Natopia confers the right to sharing of noble titles, but does not extend to the sharing of duties and powers of the title.
