Streamers and confetti of green and blue were swarming through Lindstrom Harbor like a giant snowglobe. The scene was picturesque, the elegant imperial yacht, Urania, was glistening in the gentle waters. It's smokestacks emitting the clean burning water vapor from its faux-steam engines, an innovation of the naval engineers to create the effect of the romantic style of turn of the century steam vessels without the coal burning power plants. The Urania's interior had been refitted to hide the modern amenities underneath the authentic decor of the period. The yacht had been designed to serve as a light frigate in times of war during the early years of Natopia's military. The gun turrets were removed as a sign of the end of the utilitarian period of the Natopian Defense Force, and therefore a beginning for the new era of Natopian prosperity and abundance.



The imperial couple were standing on the bow, waving at the hundreds of people lining the docks to wish them bon voyage on their honeymoon cruise across the world. Slowly the Urania began pulling out of the harbor and the many flags began flapping in the breeze.

Yes, the list was made before they had their troubles and William was a noble there.
