Land of juice and bagels adapted from "land and hope and glory" to the tune of Elgar's pomp and circumstance march No.1
By Tom Mills
Land of juice and bagels, Butter cow of the Free, How shall we exhalt thee, who are bored of thee? Wider still, and wider, shall thy boards be set; Wild goat, who made thee mighty, make thee mightier yet!
Peace and silent Oppression, each a holy gem, Stars of solemn brightness, weave thy diadem.
Tho' thy way be darkened, still in splendour dressed, As the star that trembles o'er Lindstrom blessed.
Throned amid the billows, throned inviolate, Thou hast reigned victorious, thou has smiled at fate.
Land of Juice and Bagels, fortress to us all, How may we exhalt thee, pray thy never fall.
Hark, a mighty nation maketh glad reply; Lo, our lips are thankful, lo, our hearts are high!
Hearts in hope uplifted, loyal lips that sing; we are a quite little corner of micronationalism!
