 For too long the western coast of the continent we dominate has been outside our influence. Therefore I am proposing the colonization of an area around what historians generally agree as the location of the birth place of Nett Opaegh. The area is rich with tropical fruits and will supplement our growing trading programs, as well as bolster our production of the national beverage. Opaeghia will also allow us to focus on the west whereas previously our protectorates of SM and Athlon have forced us to look eastward. |

Alexandria are vaguely interested in those islands (I know this because I once tried to claim there and asked them that first) ... but they're also probably going to not be claiming much anytime soon so .... colony looks good to me.
(Craitman's a big fan of "you have land free adjacent to you, claim that" but I think a colony on your own continent is fine, since you have backstory and trading reasons to claim there)

Well if Craitman wants to just *give* us all that green land that we *used* to own in the spirit of adjacent expansion I will not object  But that green land has no resources  Also I cleaned up the Tapfer coast and national borders as a gift to the cartographers should they choose to approve and copy/paste this map  |

How about an influential citizen's obsession?
Butter cow city is not quite named after an influential citizen... and Natopian tradition??? Bagelcratican, strange laws, laid back atmosphere, green and gray... not much more than that.
