I have just been perusing the maps present in our fine library, and was wondering whether I am right in thinking that it is The Empire of the Alexandrians across the river?

Correct, Alexandria is across the River Egale, our western border.

What is the correct procedure for foreign relations matters? May I visit their forum and say 'hi, I'm the new Baron across the Egale. Nice to meet you etc'?

Perfectly acceptable. We have no foreign policy procedures.  You could even be Minister of Foreign Affairs if you felt up to it  |
