due to recent influx of citizens and the fact that our MITO trade level is stuck at 3 due to our lack of natural resources and trade partners... I think we should claim this little chunk of Apollonia... it will provide a copper and lead deposit and access to water power. With these resources we will get to level 5 i think and get over the hump... future claims can be made on Tapfer, which is our primary goal... but tapfer has no available metals that we need. Named Natollonia, portmanteau of Natopia and Apollonia. The city names are very bland because the colony is essentially a resource farm for the empire, therefore no grand cities... just Leadville and Coppertone (a bit of fun has to be in every natopia claim) Odlum Falls is on Lake Odlum, and Port St Andre is named after a Bovic saint i just made up... the patron saint of trade and commerce, named for Andreas.... surely it will get his vote What do we think?

Yeah sounds good, we really should trade our way up.

The text covers the horrendous shape marvellously For trade, remember that resources are now calculated on holding enough land nearby, and not just being under it. Without checking maps at all, I'd suggest making the north and middle arms maybe 1.5 times as thick. Should be fine then

I did draw the map using the new resource map. The land touches each deposit at 100% but only just barely to allow other nations access to the deposits.... Since we don't want to expand extensively on Apollonia we dont want to take up a lot of space. If you think we can get away with a thicker claim, I can redraw it to be more aesthetically pleasing tho
