According to the Holzer Ministerium des Innern the following residents of the Holzer Empire were citizens at the time of annexation into Natopia. They therefore hold the sole power to petition for secession as per Imperial Decree 17.

Alaric (William) also resigned his citizenship prior to annexation. I also know Johann Boyen won't be returning. I don't know that Juergen fellow though.

I couldn't find a census or complete list of citizenship applications in the citizenship office so I compiled a list of those active on the forum who were making official-looking posts or at least pretending they were citizens :/ This list is only going to be used if Holzborg votes to leave Natopia.
However, will you be continuing Holzborg? I don't want to run in and steal this country from its citizens, but I do have plans to utilize its Germanic culture and of course you are welcome/encouraged to stay with Holzborg in Natopia. It will be an integral part of Natopia for however long Holzers wish it to remain.

I cannot continue Holzborg as an independent nation since I'm already running Universalis - which I'd like to focus more effort on anyway. Furthermore, I'm probably the only citizen remaining, which makes my efforts moot.
But simply put, I see little value in having Holzborg be annexed by Natopia. Justin stated that he wished to "preserve" the culture - that can be done with equal effectiveness by registering it at the Apollo Foundation. But you state a "continuation" of the culture, which is different. So, if you would, please clarify what your plans are for Holzborg.

I always loved studying imperial Germany and will be taking this as an opportunity to further develop Holzborg's culture more in-depth and focused as a recreation of imperial Germany. The culture already in place will be maintained but whats already in place will be expanded upon. Holzborg will continue to be used, it won't simple be left to get dusty. The closest thing I can compare this situation is to Athlon... it was annexed into Natopia but its culture as the seat of the Bovic church is still used and it is still relevant.

Alright then, I'll acquiesce. Partly because I like Natopia, but mostly because I know I'm not going to win this argument.  Of course, I'd be willing to trade Lichtenberg for a land corridor to connect E and W Universalis.  |
