Today is Purification Day. It is the day .... many years ago... when the Venerable Union of Aligned States collapsed due to Lavalonian treachery, marking the end of cozy relations with our sister nation, Lavalon, and beginning a chain of events that would cause the First Republic to collapse and the Kingdom to be founded (soon reorganized to the Empire almost a month later).
In celebration, Ziegish residents will make bonfires out of eucalyptus trees and throw straw effigies of Xon into them.
