Its coronation day and The Vista de Nada Palace is currently filling up with distinguished guests, visiting foreign Heads of State and citizens of Natopia.
Lindstorm City officials have set up 10 giant television screens to cater for the huge crowds that have flocked to the capital to witness the event.
In the city, demand for free Juice and Bagels amongst the population has temporally exceeded supply and these items are fetching high prices on the black market.
The Imperial band and choir will shortly begin playing the national anthem, "O Great Nation" commencing the coronation ceremony.

Emperor Konrad enters the Coronation hall wearing formal Natopian court uniform and begins to stride toward the Natopian Throne.
The Emperor sits, waiting for the formal religious ceremony to start.

Pentheros Nathan stands at the entrance of the hall as the band plays "O Great Nation" as Konrad, the second Emperor of Natopia, advances towards the throne:
O Great Nation, My Great Nation, pleas for peace and sovereignty.
Devote your life to our Great Strife while singing of hope and peace.
All of us will put our trust into the Nation we hold dear.
O Great Nation, My Great Nation, pleas for peace and sovereignty.
Dear Empire, O Empire, hear our cries for truth and love.
Unite the Earth in one Great Berth under the Empire's rule.
Make this world for young and old a place to live a worthy life.
Dear Empire, O Empire, hear our cries for truth and love.
Our Emperor, O Emperor, protect the Nation from all.
Defend our Rights with all your Mights so that we all may prosper.
Serve with valor and with candor to attain the goal we seek.
Our Emperor, O Emperor, protect the Nation from all.
Konrad sits on the throne and everyone in the hall sits. Before the ceremony the Imperial Crown Jewels were sent to the Cathedral for a private blessing. A minor procession preceded the coronation where Nathan and the bosarchs of three major Natopian cities marched in solemn silence from the Cathedral to the Palace. The bosarch of Ziegeland was carrying the Crown, to represent the authority of the Church transferred to the authority of the Crown. The Bosarch of Opaeghia carried the Sword of Sovereignty, representing the ancient lineage of Nett Opaegh passed on to the new Emperor. And finally the Bosarch of Tasneemia carried the Imperial Scepter, representing the good governance represented by the Tasneemian people.
The pentheros and three bosarchs began their procession toward the throne as the Lindstrom City Boys Choir began to sing "The Spirit of Cow Like Butter is Melting," rearranged slightly from the Athlonian hymn to fit the Coronation:
The Spirit of Cow like butter is melting;
The latter day glory begins to come forth;
The visions and blessings of old are returning;
The angels are coming to visit the earth
We'll sing and we'll shout with the armies of Konrad:
Hosanna, hosanna to Cow and the Saints!
Reverence to them in the highest be given,
Henceforth and forever: amen and amen!
The Cow is extending Konrad’s understanding—
Restoring her judges and all as at first;
The knowledge and power of Cow are expanding
The veil o'er the earth is beginning to burst.
We'll sing and we'll shout with the armies of Konrad:
Hosanna, hosanna to Cow and the Saints!
Reverence to them in the highest be given,
Henceforth and forever: amen and amen!
We call in our bovine assemblies, in spirit,
To spread forth the Kingdom of Konrad abroad,
That we through our faith may begin to inherit
The visions, and blessings, and glories of Cow.
We'll sing and we'll shout with the armies of Konrad:
Hosanna, hosanna to Cow and the Saints!
Reverence to them in the highest be given,
Henceforth and forever: amen and amen!
At the final verse the holy retinue reached the throne and set their holy and imperial objects on an altar. The bosarchs fanned out around Pentheros Nathan who turned to face the throng of guests. Beloved calves! Please bow your head as we pray to the holy and reverent Butter Spirit and his avatar on this earth, the malevolent and terrific Butter Bull:
"Oh Buttery Spirit, we all come to you today in celebration of this new dawning age of your ordained nation, Natopia. We invoke your holy wisdom to possess Emperor Konrad and guide him to be just in all his endeavors. We invoke your holy might to grant Emperor Konrad strength to destroy our enemies and defend our allies. We invoke your holy Butteriness to allow Emperor Konrad to be humble among the lowly butter making and eating people. Amen."
The crowd echoes with a spattering of amens as Nathan turns to Konrad, enthroned. He picks up the Imperial Scepter, walks around the altar and hands it to Konrad.
"May this Scepter give you the right to govern and imbue you with the blessings of the Tasneemians, the people related to our greatest official, Tasneem." Konrad accepts the Scepter and holds it in his left hand.
Nathan picks up the Sword of Sovereignty, "May this Sword give you the loyalty of your citizens and imbue you with the blessings of the Opaeghians, the people related to our founder, Nett Opaegh." Konrad accepts the Sword and hold it in his right hand.
Nathan then turned and picked up the Imperial Crown, "May this Crown give you the authority of the holy and majestic monarchy of Natopia and imbue you with the blessings of the Ziegish people, the very first Natopians and first to establish nobility within the nation." Konrad stood up, sword and scepter in hand, and bowed to the Pentheros. Nathan then placed the Imperial Crown atop Konrad's head and he stood up.
Nathan then announced "ALL PRAISE TO THE EMPIRE!! All praise Emperor Konrad, Holy and Majestic Bovic Emperor, Protector of Ziegeland, Lord of Yellow Island, Conquerer of the Ancient Region of Dracoheim, Uniter of the Demesnes, Protector of the Eternal Nation, Guardian of the Icons of the State, Grand Mayor of Lindstrom City, Wielder of the Sword of Sovereignty, Scourge of Lavalon!"
And he bowed to the Emperor as the choir sang the final verse of the national anthem,
"Our Emperor, O Emperor, protect the Nation from all.
Defend our Rights with all your Mights so that we all may prosper.
Serve with valor and with candor to attain the goal we seek.
Our Emperor, O Emperor, protect the Nation from all. "

His Sovereign Majesty then delivered this speech to the nation.
"Foreign dignitaries, distinguished officers of the Dozan Bovic Church, Citizens of Natopia I welcome you to the Palace and thank you for your attendance.
I have received troubling news, there is a citywide shortage of Juice, Bagels and Tea. Under my reign no Citizen shall have to pay exorbitant prices for our National staples. I have given the order for Juice, Tea and Bagels to be brought in from stockpiles in the countryside.
A nation that wishes to extended its foothold in space, should not see her people unable eat Natopian food, drink Natopian beverages or celebrate the coronation of her Emperor.
Free Juice and Bagels for ALL!!!!!!
LONG LIVE NATOPIA!!!!!!"
The hall then erupted in shouts of LONG LIVE THE EMPEROR.
Two minutes later the Emperor outstretched his hand and the shouts were silenced.
"The Pentheros of the Dozan Bovic Church is now invited to bless the audience and Natopia."

The Pentheros stood next to the Emperor and bowed his head.
"Oh holy and benevolent Butter Spirit, I ask you to bless each and every one of these people in this hall today with your holy love. We are at a turning point and ask you to guide our lives to glorify this nation, which in turn glorifies you. I ask that you give your blessings to the nation as well so that this empire may continue to spread your Buttery goodness to all men and women of Micras. Amen!"
