In the event that the Emperor decide we should vacate land for Universal (which inhabited East Tapfer before we did) I would propose this compromise. Why compromise? Unlike Stormark and Interland's colonies there, we have tremendous interest in that land. It once belonged to Lavalon, and occupying it represents our strength over our fallen rival/friend/sister nation. East Tapfer also contains two MITO wheat resources, necessary for our bagels! The reduction in East Tapfer maintains most of the area around the very first expansion into the peninsula, the Lavalonian province of Klaasiya was given to us by Lavalon while it was still functional, therefore the eastern portion of current East Tapfer holds the most Laval-Natopians in the empire. Bagelston is essential as well, the capital of that province and current manufacturer of bagels, being fed by the fertile wheat fields to the south west. These wheat fields have been preserved as well... the two bumps in the border. Also we must maintain control over the entire coastline of Borders Bay, thus the connecting strip to modern day Klaasiya. This strip also preserved the former Lavalonian capital, Lavisitya, which was renamed Butter Cow City in typical revolutionary fashion. To compensate for the reduction in E Tapfer, minor gains were added to modern Klaasiya so that we control the entire eastern bank of the Egale River. The Demesne of Ferien was expanded onto the mainland, now bordering Alexandria's territory and giving us access to the MITO silver deposits there as well as increasing our control of naval access to Borders Bay. The bulk of the lost territory, however, was shifted to Opaeghia. It now expands eastward to Alexandria, encompassing timber forests, and pack animal MITO resources. The extension to the Alexandrian city of Westphalie grants us an iron deposit. Along the coast, the territory is expanded north and south. The north grants us more access to the shipbulding resource and the south expansion gives us minor access to Salt.

Another possible land deal.
We lose less of East Tapfer and gain control over the east bank of Egale River and also the Silver deposits up around Ferien.
Also my MS pain makes shocking images.

Please note that West Universalis is also shrinking, so I would assume that you would want to fill that vacated space as well. This is the most up-to-date map that reflects current borders.

Also, if you have concerns over access to resources, we could write that into a treaty. Say, for example, that Universalis agrees to allow permanent Natopian control over the wheat-producing regions/companies/something of East Tapfer.
Another option is, for historical areas that Natopia wishes to retain - would you consider a condominium sharing control 50/50 over the region?

I'd personally like to keep the wheat fields under Natopia's color, purely as a national pride sort of deal.
The historical areas I am personally concerned with are mostly north, hence Emperor Konrad's division at Zeemia. The line can be gerrymandered a little bit more north and made more wiggly. But how much land will the MCS allow you to expand into?

I'm fine with your original proposal if you're willing to go forward with that. I was hoping to restore the original western boundary if that's possible, by extending a small corridor to the ocean. I'd also assume that you'd fill the vacated area around Port Chole/former West Universalis. That seems to make the most sense. I marked it as West Tapfer on the map. I have no idea what the MCS is going to do with this...

Please pardon my intrusion.
Ryan, I thought you were the Administrator of the MCS. Isn't this YOUR map? When did all this change? I feel so lost in this new micro-world!!

I retired from the MCS about three years ago, and released the copyright to the public. It has since had three new Admin Generals, with the latest being Craitman. The management has also changed in that claims are voted on by a council of senior staff members.
I'm honorary staff but don't have any say on what gets approved and what doesn't.

Oh. Well, ok then. I guess. Kinda sucks.

How important is the land corridor to you? It seems awkward on the map and also it is a point of Natopian pride and unofficial policy to maintain control over the entire coastline of Borders Bay.
What land are you consolidating to fill in East Tapfer with? Or is this going to be an expansion?

Alright then, drop the corridor but keep the western border the same as in the map I posted. That's our original border - at least up until it meets your border.
It's a bit of both. I've already consolidated by trading off New Montauk and West Universalis so that I could absorb Stormark and Interland's colonies. But it will be a minor expansion into East Tapfer once we finalize an agreement.
Whether Natopia occupies the vacated land around Port Chole or not is your call.

I have no idea what the MCS is going to do with this... There is the tiniest corner of spice in the top Alexandrian bit - might wanna remove that

Here's a map in which Natopia controls the coast line and 100 miles inland, and at the same time, I get 99.9% of my western boundary restored.
