I propose to this Ministry the following map It redistributes the land from East Tapfer to Opaeghia. A small expansion to Klaasiya to cover the river banks, and an expansion of Ferien to access silver. The new Opaeghian cities are where our new resources will be collected. Waffelia for timber, Paine Place for pack animals, and New Alrodria for metal (i forgot what kind). New Alrodria is the established home for all the Alrodrian refugees. Leaveing the old kingdom of Alrodria, they settled in Mehlville, the nearest port town to them. Being pushed out by the ever increasing influx of Mehl to the city, they traveled up the Egale River and began working in the metal mines using their expertise from mining uranium on their home island. They operated in international land and traded with neighbors. With this expansion we can welcome our old Alrodrian brothers back into the Empire by extending our border to their mining settlement.

Is it me or is the bottom half of that map all white?!
Anyways, do you want me to hold off submitting the land changes for Universalis and we can just submit all these changes jointly?

Haha... the bottom half was just me forgetting to resize the border in Paint Yes that may make it easier on the MCS... and one must always keep the powers that be happy.

Better hurry if you want to modify it, 'cause I already submitted it. (And a good thing since Alexandria just tried to claim the land you want for Ferien)

Well since you submitted a claim with slightly more land than the one up there I think it would be best if we all just kept quiet and see if they accept it first

BTW, I asked to keep Zeemia and Estatia on the map. You don't mind, do you? I like the thought of sharing cultural heritage.

Our friends in Universalis have been removed from the map. I'm wondering if we should seek to reclaim more of East Tapfer at the sake of abandoning the expanded Opaeghia land?
We'd gain "cultural" land but lose MITO resources. Not that either really matter too much but eh, just wanted to put this out there until another nation chooses to move in.

MITO resourse = whatever, imo. It seems like something that only a choice few people care about, and I don't know if we as a nation do. Can you clarify our position on that front?

I don't know anymore. Like you said, its only important for a select few nations. I guess we need to decide what we, as a nation, value more: cultural continuity of territory or access to resources that determine whether or not we are a superpower based on a formula not all nations recognize.
Also the MITO site still shows us owning Holzborg... but by treaty giving them their independence I think we still have access to their resources... but they just refounded themselves so I'm sure they would not be too keen to recognize the treaty lol. We were on level nine out of ten haha.
Oh well, I don't think its really relevant anymore. I might favor reclaiming.
