I am proposing on Micras that the miles per pixel be changed to make it easier to compute. Currently one pixel represents 6.917 miles. I would like to see that changed to 7 miles.
Does Natopia have any personal maps, using Micras geography, that are scaled in such a way that changing the distance of a pixel would adversely affect it? If not, may I assume that Natopia has no conflict with the slight alteration of the distance represented by the pixels on the map?

Hello, Quick question, Why was it 6.917 in the first place? Other than that, (although I dont have any say in this area) I'm pretty sure Natopia would be fine with this. all of our maps are found here: natopianation.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=cartohope that helps.

The map is 3600 pixels wide. At 6.917 per pixel that makes the equator of Micras 24,901.2 miles around, which is within a few miles the circumference of the Earth. That was the original reasoning. There's some contention as to if that number is even accurate, and the wiki conflicts with the map. There's also a majority of people who wish for the map to change to metric. So what it will become, if it becomes anything, be it 7 miles, 11 kilometers or whatever is still up for debate. As long as none of your maps, which it doesn't look to me like it does, use the miles per pixel scale there's no conflict. Hopefully it will be standardized and convenient if you ever do.

Yea I don't think the conversion will affect us in any way.
