Natopia has an interesting history among Micran nations in that it began as a solely offline community and started its online activity as a secessionist nation before coming to rest at the old micro-nations.net and MCS, et al.
It is this transient nature that I feel both defines and isolates Natopia, and has been its blessing and its curse for its entire history.
With this in mind, I have applied for membership in the Organization of Active Micronations

By expanding our presence into an entirely new sector, I hope to bring renewed interest and people into Natopia. Too many people have been lost along our 8 year history, and we have not been able to attract and keep citizens from within our sector. Therefore, I feel we must look outward to this new sector, or else Natopia will continue to hemorrhage people and activity.
Natopia will not turn its back on Micras, and will present itself as a Micran nation to this new sector. But hopefully a fresh audience will bring some much needed life to Natopia that the Micras community has not provided us in recent years.
